Earlier this month, McCutchen Napurano - The Law Firm founder Joey McCutchen received the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association’s (ATLA) 2017 Roxanne Wilson Advocacy Award, the Southwest Times Record reports. ATLA stated in a press release that they chose McCutchen for this honor because of his “activism in the advancement and improvement of the legal system and the legal profession, for his defense of those who cannot find justice for themselves, and for his demonstration of dedication to family, the community, and to ATLA.” McCutchen is also the incoming president of ATLA, a prestigious organization that includes 1,000 attorneys from from all 75 counties in the state.

McCutchen founded McCutchen Napurano - The Law Firm in Fort Smith in 1991 as the Law Office of Joey McCutchen. Since then, he has expanded the firm and continued to fight tirelessly for his clients and for the Seventh Amendment right to trial by jury, which he spoke about in his award acceptance speech. He has even taken his advocacy beyond his legal practice with public safety initiatives, including Project Safety, Take 25, and the Distracted Driving Program. Joey McCutchen has also worked to educate lawmakers on the importance of the rights of ordinary people to seek justice in civil suits.

All of us at McCutchen Napurano - The Law Firm are proud of Joey McCutchen for winning this recognition and for the hard work he did to earn it. As colleagues, our firm knows the dedication and passion that McCutchen has for his profession. He has served his community, embodied the values of this firm, and provided his clients with truly award-winning advocacy.
