One man is dead after a two-car collision occurred on the morning of Monday, October 26, in Madison County. Arkansas State Police officials were called to the scene when an accident near US Highway 412 was reported. The victim of the accident, a 78-year-old man from Tennessee, was identified as Kenneth R. Sisk. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver involved in the automobile crash was 64-year-old Billie Berry. He was traveling eastbound on the highway when his truck rear-ended Sisk’s Nissan Rogue. The cause of the initial accident is still being investigated by Arkansas State Police.
When Sisk’s vehicle was rear-ended by Berry’s Chevrolet truck, the smaller vehicle lost control and struck a tree. The force of the impact sent the vehicle crashing into the ravine on the side of Highway 412, where the car landed upside-down and crushed its driver.
