A pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Thompson and Bailey in Springdale in Washington and Benton counties, Arkansas on Thursday, November 3 at around 6:45 p.m., causing his immediate death.
The victim was identified as 62-year-old Cruz Gonzalez. He succumbed to his mortal injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
Police investigators said the vehicle involved in the accident could possibly be a 2003-2005 Dodge Neon with a somewhat damaged front windshield that is missing its front bumper, which was found at the scene of the accident.
